Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do you accept insurance?

No, but you can ask your insurance company if they will reimburse you for your out of pocket expenses for our care. As naturopathic doctors we treat more than just the superficial symptoms. Often insurance companies don't cover what we do. We want to give you the best treatment possible instead of our treatments being dictated by what insurance will and will not cover. We can however use your insurance under certain circumstances to run blood work or other labs.

How does a naturopaths training differentiate from a MD or DO?

Naturopathic doctors attend 4 years of medical school. Over the 4 years they are trained in western medicine as a DO or MD would be but in addition to that training they are educated in eastern medicine (Chinese medicine/acupuncture) and naturopathic modalities such as: nutrition, botanical medicine, nutraceuticals, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, bone/soft tissue adjustments,  and IV/injection therapies. Each doctor has unique training experience as many practice extra modalities that are not covered under the medical curriculum.
